When I try downloading MT via the Apple App Store, I get an "App Not Available" message.
Due to the removal of MT (4 and 5) from the AppStore, you won't be able to download the applications to your Apple mobile devices.
However, you can still access your trading account using the web version, the desktop application, or any android mobile device.
I already have the MT platform installed on my device. Will it be removed?
The cancellation in Apple AppStore will not affect the apps previously installed on the IOS devices. However, if you change to another iPhone, even if all installed applications are transferred to the new phone, MetaTrader will no longer be available.
Please also note that if you have the option "Offload unused apps" turned on, your device might automatically offload the MetaTrader application (in this case, you will see a cloud icon next to the application name). If that happens, you will not be able to upload the application to your device again.
Are my accounts safe if I use the iOS platform for trading?
All your accounts are always safe with FBS. Removing the platform from the AppStore in no way affects the operation of your accounts. You can trade with them using the desktop version of MetaTrader.
Are my funds safe?
Your funds are safe, fully accessible, and not affected by removing MetaTrader trading apps from the App Store. You can access your accounts and funds via the FBS Personal Area application, which is available in the AppStore.
Will I be able to log in to my MT4/MT5 account on my iOS mobile device?
If the MetaTrader platform has already been installed on your mobile device, you can log into your trading account. Make sure you're using your correct login credentials.
